Welcome to Blooms & Greens, a Pacific Northwest garden site rooted in the Olympic rain shadow of Washington State, where mild coastal weather and clear skies shape the rhythm of the garden. This space is devoted mostly to gardening in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains, with the occasional side trip along the way. At heart, it is a place to follow this garden and its distinct little universe through the seasons, and to share the small stories, discoveries, and delights that come with paying attention.

Your guide here is the Garden Keeper, a curious gardener always willing to try something new in the garden at least once. From blooms and vegetables to birds, wildlife, and seasonal change, Blooms & Greens offers notes from a garden shaped by place, weather, and wonder. I hope you’ll tag along.

Blooms & Greens is an independent Pacific Northwest garden site and is not affiliated with similarly named social media accounts, brands, or businesses.
